Golang Engineer in Dominion

As an Golang Engineer you will perform the following functions:

• Developing and implementing systems at scale.
• Management of event-driven systems.
• Work with internal teams to design, develop, and maintain software.
• Design and build new features
• Work with the other engineering teams to integrate these features into our product
• Integrate with our data plane and Kubernetes integration APIs
• Develop and test the completed system running standalone and in Kubernetes
• Research new tooling, libraries and ways to deliver better results as a team

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar field, including a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
• Advanced English (B2+)
• 2+ years with Golang
• 5+ years of developing and implementing systems at scale.
• Working knowledge of event driven systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins
• Basic understanding of design patterns, object-oriented principles, and a desire to continuously improve code.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, REST principles, databases, and security best practices.
• Good understanding of software testing techniques at all levels
• Good understanding of data modeling and familiarity with XML and JSON schema standards
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to offer why one technical solution is preferable than another
• Familiarity with Platform as a Service (PaaS) and container-based technologies a plus.
• Experience with Apache Kafka a plus.
