As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a vital role in developing and evolving our Tech Team and engineers.

This is a crucial role within our team. You will be responsible (in conjunction with the HR area) to foster important relationships with each engineer in your squad to help them grow organically in technical professional aspects and in the development of interpersonal skills.

You will also be responsible for aligning with the technical and product teams, contributing to create the strategic roadmap of their products, and focusing on achieving the company's objectives.

It is a challenge that has a major impact on our day-to-day work and the way we work.

Some of the core responsibilities and functions:

• Define together with the Product and UX Team the strategic roadmap of your technical product
• Coach and mentor engineers through day-to-day challenges and guide them towards long term professional and technical growth.
• Lead your team in consistently delivering on a roadmap they collaboratively define.
• Effectively manage technical Debt, focusing on Balancing Speed and Quality of the delivery.
• Promote the practices defined by the guild so that they are correctly applied within your team.
• Be a technical support to engineers by helping them through different methods to improve their technical quality.
• Propose organizational initiatives on improving workflow processes and resolving them with practical, lightweight, measurable process taking in consideration how it will impact our final user.

• At least 2+ years managing teams of Engineers.
• Experience both on technical and people leadership.
• Experience with React / Redux / Typescript and NodeJS so you can help others to improve the quality of their coding.
• Knowledge on SQL and MySQL (we use TypeORM).
• Git (with GitHub/bitbucket/GitLab).

• You speak English fluently.
