At Crack The Code, we are revolutionizing K-12 education in Latin America. We want to develop student's digital skills through a blended methodology where students have fun while learning. Our company focuses on teaching Computer Science to kids and teenagers aged 5 through 18 and therefore preparing young Latin American generations for the digital era we are living. We want to demonstrate that by teaching kids how to code, they will have brighter futures, and all of our lives will benefit from it.

We are looking for a top Front-end Engineer with UX experience that will help us develop our platform even further. We want a hungry, curious, driven, creative engineer that will take our platform to the next level.

Job functions

Our Engineering team is growing, technology is a focus for us and we are building a team that will help us take our company and platform to the next level.

  • You will be part of our tech team and will help make decisions about technology and UX having our clients be in the center of every decision that is made.
  • You will then execute the plan alongside the different team members of our team, adjust it on an ongoing basis, and constantly look for improvements.
  • You will work with marketing and educational teams to get insight into what our clients and users want and need, and find ways to implement in our platform.

Qualifications and requirements

  • ReactJS development + Development Patterns
  • UI implementation of Designs in Figma
  • interaction with APIs
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Implementation of modular structure
  • Serverless functions (in Vercel)

Ideally, candidate must have experience interacting with tests and UX team:

  • Execution of tests in Cypress
  • Orientation to Improvement of user flows

Desirable skills

  • Experience with deployment in Vercel
  • Experience with performance improvement
  • Knowledge of UI
  • English is a plus
