Full-Stack Developer (Python) in Prediktive

We are looking for a Full Stack Python Developer based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, an Internet Company based in Los Angeles, California.

The person in this role will basically help indie musicians stay indie, by bringing fintech to music! Will be passionate about software engineering and the music industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and development of our lending, payments and royalties system
• Build the interfaces used by our artists and their teams to manage content and earnings
• Collect earnings data and allocate payments to joint royalty shareholders
• Build the system to underwrite, originate and recoup advances
• Design and build tools for analyzing, reporting, and visualizing earnings data
• Integrate with external payments and accounting systems
• Produce schema design, information architecture, and data presentation features
• Write well-tested code
• Mentor other engineers

Requirements

• Advanced Level of English
• 5+ years of development experience coding in Python and Javascript (React is preferred)
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL and/or PostgreSQL and/or Redis
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP
• Experience working on CI/CD and containerized environments. Terraform and Docker
• Startup experience and a continuous improvement mindset
• Diverse views and experience, as well as a tendency to include others
• An empathetic attitude
• An instinct to encourage collaboration and team-building
• Experience mentoring others and a desire to have mentors

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields
• Experience working in Fintech
• Data modeling skills are a huge plus. Apache Airflow
