We're looking for our next Senior Full-Stack React/Node.Js developer to join us!.

Job functions

Work on a highly experienced team – our development team has logged over 650,000 hours of development with over 300 years of combined development experience.
Work with the latest technologies – Simsaw is about staying on the edge and innovating – applications are built in AWS using the newest technologies on the AWS stack.
Write code not just for new and exciting projects, but also inject new features into existing applications.
The best developers at Simsaw will be given opportunities to be project leads for brand new projects which means building those applications from scratch and making relevant architectural decisions.
Responsibilities will include interfacing directly with US-based project managers, writing code using established best practices, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team to improve all layers of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and requirements

Hard skills

Expert proficiency level (in performance and legibility) with Node, JavaScript and React.
PostgreSQL. It is imperative to be able to write complex queries when the abstraction of the ORM is not enough.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Strong Knowledge of how to design and build a REST API. You are able to explain everything that happens under the hood when a user (agent) requests an URL.
Knowledge and experience on encapsulation, abstraction, polymorphism, or building algorithms.
Functional programming practices as a form of creating reactive programming.
Understands high-level architectural design and patterns.
