Job functions

As Full-stack Developer, you will have hands-on impact on Enara’s clinical operation applications – Ranging from its ideation to deployment. In this role, you will use technical expertise and collaboration capabilities to ensure that Enara software iterates quickly, improving daily. You will interact daily with colleagues in your team, and regularly with the rest of the technology organization as well as the entire company.
We are looking for software developers with at least 3 years of professional experience working on a development team at a consumer startup or bigger companies. Academic, client work and solo/personal projects won't account for this requirement.
We want people who are excited to build and learn, who will help shape the culture of our Latin American distributed team. The ideal candidate asks frequently for clarifying questions, wants to learn and they are ready to contribute.
Responsibilities
  • Comunicarse en Español e Inglés:
    • Sentirse cómod@ comunicándose con algunos colegas en inglés y con tu jefe y PMs en español.
    • Entender muy bien inglés escrito y poder comunicar una decisión técnica en inglés (al 80%).
  • You will be part of our Clinical Operations Product team. You will be supported by 3 amazing engineers and a rockstar Tech/Team Lead will be in charge of supervising your work and help you grow.
  • Create and launch beautiful features, paying attention to small details and the big picture.
  • Keep track and report progress on your tasks, pull-requests and deploys.
  • You have team spirit and you want to communicate, contribute and learn from others. You are willing to take small risks, asking questions and requesting help when stuck.
  • Work with latest technologies and tools (Serverless, Docker, TypeScript, and many more).
  • Be a team player who can understand that startups' needs are sometimes unpredictable!

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ year of professional experience working on a development team at a consumer startup or bigger companies. Academic, client work and solo/personal projects will NOT account for this requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree (or 2 additional years of professional experience).
  • 1+ years of professional experience building React.js Applications – Academic and personal projects does NOT count .
  • 1+ years of professional experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs using Node or Ruby – Academic and personal projects does NOT count.
  • Demonstrated use in professional environments of collaborative code repositories (GitHub, BitBucket, etc.) and understanding code collaboration workflows.

The ideal candidate

  • 3+ years working at a single product team with a tech leader and product managers (not on software factories or client projects).
  • You have backend experience using AWS tools.
  • You understand the challenges of using server-less infrastructure and non relational databases.
  • You are are comfortable using TypeScript and understand the difference between:
    • interface
    • type
  • Demonstrated use of quality improvement tools, like testing frameworks (Jest), code quality (lint) and CI/CD workflows.
