Full-Stack Software Engineer in Arca Systems

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer you will be working with our customers to help them build the solutions they need to run their businesses. You work could vary greatly, from building integrations to third-party services to building new features on the client side to adding new background jobs in the back-end. You will be working closely with people from our customers as well with other teammates within Arca who will be available to help you with questions, concerns and code reviews.

We are looking for backend developers who have strong and holistic experience with Ruby on Rails and related systems. the ideal candidate will also have some experience working in the front-end with Javascript and frameworks such as React or Angular. We want engineers who can take high-level requirements and turn them into beautiful, well-tested code that you'd be proud to present at a software conference.

Arca engineers aren't afraid of asking questions when something is unclear. They are also unafraid of answering questions and offering help to their teammates and customers when they can. Required Skills

• 2 or more years of experience working with Ruby on Rails
• Experience working with client-side languages and tools such as Javascript, React or Angular
• Experience using git/github, rspec, relational databases, etc
• Experience working with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello
• Proficient English, written and spoken. The common language at Arca is English.

Interview Process

Our interview process is fast and straightforward. If selected, you will have a screening call with an Arca teammate. If there is mutual agreement to continue, we will send you a coding exercise to solve during your own time. The final step in the process will be a deep technical dive with two Arca engineers in which we'll discuss your solution to the coding exercise as well as other relevant questions.
