THE MISSION

WHAT YOU COULD DO

Whenever a new project starts, we try to be as flexible as possible in order to let everyone work on what they like the most. As a fullstack developer, depending on your exact skillset and attitude, you could do the following (obviously not at the same time!):

Design and development of REST API services, from single features to entire systems;
Performance analysis of our stack, to ensure it’s running at its best;
Optimization of critical code paths;
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment;
Design and development of customer facing web applications, management dashboards, and so on;
Integration of our frontend apps with our backend solution;
Contribute to our product development process: UI/UX design, problem solving, etc…;
Help shape our projects while they are being defined and discussed.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

We know that the fullstack developer is very often a mythical creature, however, we believe that every skill that we learn enriches us beyond the mere technical knowledge, it creates new ways of thinking and ways to solve the problems that we face everyday. That’s why we are looking for people with a broad skill-set:

Experience with backend development (preferred stack: PHP + Symfony, API Platform) and familiarity with database interaction (we mainly use PostgresQL and MongoDB)
Experience with REST API design, its definition and evolution (backwards compatibility, etc…)
Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and some CSS Frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap)
Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing
Experience with Git
Experience with working in a Linux environment

The above can seem a long list, but as we said we believe that a broad skill set helps in shaping ourselves and to find the best solution for the challenges we face. If we had to choose, we would prefer a deeper knowledge on the backend side.

NICE TO HAVE

Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, and of the Angular framework
Knowledge of cloud systems architectures and auxiliary services such as Redis, RabbitMQ, etc…
Knowledge of docker
Knowledge of a scripting language (preferred: Python)
You already know how to build decoupled applications, with an API backend + dedicated frontends
You have already worked in early-stage startup companies
You like shaping and working on different projects
Knowledge of multiplatform mobile app development with Dart and Flutter.
