Our client is an international public company dealing with app advertising, delivery and tracking. This company is currently working on new products in order to expand its business even more.

The manual QC Engineer will be part of a Scrum Team, which is developing an Android application. This individual will interact with other business teams and software engineers to refine requirements, thoroughly test changes and support software releases, using proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Job Functions

  • Android mobile application
  • Direct everyday communication with the Client
  • Active participation in Scrum meetings, iteration planning, feature demos, as well as writing and executing software test plans and procedures in order to identify software issues and causes
  • A product team, communicating testing estimates and status, while continually working toward the removal of project roadblocks
  • Project team members or customers to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of QA background
  • 1,5+ years in mobile device testing, Android mobile industry (or ready to get one)
  • Android Application design, tools, and ecosystem
  • Development and execution of test cases for complex requirements
  • SQL and other database technologies
  • NoSQL data stores (Cassandra, Aerospike, Redis)
  • CI systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI, etc.)
  • Ad tech
  • Cooperation with distributed teams
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Ablility to adapt and learn quickly is a fundamental necessity
  • Solid analytical, interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills at Intermediate+ English level
