  • Assist with front-end enhancements (JS or Turbo/Stimulus) and occasional CSS/layout tweaks (Tailwind)
  • Write and maintain automated tests (RSpec, basic Playwright/Jest)
  • Help integrate with external APIs (booking engines, payment gateways, etc.)
  • Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
  • Learn and grow under the guidance of senior engineers

The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative, remote team settings, demonstrates leadership in technical decision-making, and exhibits a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and mentoring.

  • Front-end skills: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS or a component-library of your choice
  • Exposure to HOTWIRE (Turbo/Stimulus)
  • Comfortable working with Docker and simple CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
  • Familiarity with API integrations
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving abilities
  • A collaborative mindset—able to work alongside seniors and ask questions

  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Datadog, Sentry, New Relic)
  • Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) best practices
