Full-Stack Ruby on Rails in UpMail

We're looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Developer to support and lead our product engineering team to bring UpMail to the next level and help us shape the Sales Enablement technology industry.

This opportunity comes at an exciting point in our journey: we've strategically started operating in the hotel industry, growing our client base with large hotel groups. We've raised more than $500k in investment to constantly optimize the platform working with heavy digital content users to sharpen a unique sales experience. We’re now ready to grow in other industries.

The Sales Enablement technology is becoming a very hot sector as it’s the next technological evolution for businesses after the implementation of their CRMs (see latest investment rounds from Outreach, Gong.io, etc.).

This is an ideal position for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer interested in taking a lead role that could evolve into taking full responsibility to plan, deliver, and own UpMail's SaaS technology roadmap.

• Experienced full-stack developer with a good working knowledge of Rails environment.
• Comfortable building and maintaining reliable, performant, secure web apps.
• Experience in user-focused, fast-moving product teams.
• Excellent communication and a positive and outgoing attitude.

Required:

• Minimum 4 years experience in RoR
• Object Orientated programming
• Database (PostgreSQL ideally)
• Agile methodologies/Product development
• Git/Version control
• Vue.js (ReactJS/AngularJS) - acceptable: Javascript
• Functional, unit, and integration testing - automation testing

• Cloud computing/AWS/GCP/Azure
• ActiveRecord/Database migrations
• External APIs - stripe, etc

• Salary range between $4,200 to $5,000 a month
