Job Details:

We are seeking a diligent and client focused professional to join our company as a Salesforce Configuration Specialist for supporting our client implementation process. Your main responsibility will be to configure our software system and some transitioning client data during enterprise software implementations. You will also collaborate with clients, business development and project managers during each phase from project planning to execution to system delivery. This position is ideal for people who want to provide solutions to client business processes that will impact the world through innovation.

As a Salesforce Configuration Specialist, you will support project managers in executing successful implementations of our technology transfer software. This role demands extensive Salesforce expertise, with the ability to manage configurations, workflows, and integrations to meet client needs. This role also requires strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and attention to detail. You will assist in data migration, troubleshooting, and configuring to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

Perform advanced Salesforce configurations, including complex Flows, Community Cloud setup, automation, custom fields, permissions and data importing.
Manage data migration processes and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
Troubleshoot software configuration and data reconciliation-related issues.
Provide training and documentation to clients on software functionality as it relates to configuration and tasks of Salesforce Administrators.
Develop documentation such as configuration workbooks, user guides, and testing protocols.

Requirements:

Salesforce experience, including configurations and customization.
Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and/or Platform App Builder certifications preferred.
Proven ability to execute complex permission requests.
Ability to work with stakeholders to map advanced screen, record, and scheduled trigger Flows.
Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, use cases, and best practices.
Ability to quickly understand software products built on Salesforce.
At least 2–5 years as solution consultant, data analyst, Salesforce engineer, software project manager, or leading enterprise implementations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Beginner to intermediate Excel knowledge.
Familiarity with Jira, Gearset.
Industry experience in B2B software.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Background in providing solutions for academic institutions, research hospitals, or industrial R&D preferred.
