Full-Stack Programmer in Prey

Prey (preyproject.com) is a Chilean company that develops security and tracking software for electronic devices that is used worldwide. We’re a global company - over 7 million users and 15.000 companies trust us with their devices’ and data security.

Our solution adapts to all kinds of businesses and manages large device fleets easily, with thousands of recovery cases all over the world (we've got lots of crazy stories!).

The main focus of this role will be to maintain and further develop the Online Panel of Prey, working under the Scrum methodology with 2-week sprints. As a developer, you will be asked to develop, code, and deliver high-quality and properly tested code.

We're looking for a bilingual programmer for Prey, with provable experience in Ruby on Rails and React.

The candidate will jump into the tech team with the mission to develop new awesome features for our product.

Some of the technical abilities and experience we’re looking for are:

• 2 - 4 years of experience in similar positions.
• A solid level of English.
• A crafty programmer that handles Rails and React like it’s the back of his hand.
• Knowledgeable in relational databases (MySQL) and key-value store (Redis).
• A passion for the tech industry and our business' mission!
• Excellent organizational skills to work both independently and in teams.

*Having experience in the following can earn you extra points:*

• Go and Java programming languages.
• Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL databases.
• Processing time series streaming.
