Funciones del cargo

Expanding the functionality of our Big Data and Advanced Analytics platform
Creating new visualizations and self-service capabilities in dashboards for our Business Intelligence area
Integrating the capabilities of the entire ETL cycle for data based on business requirements
Creating and modelling data lakes and data warehouses effectively
Adapting and implementing data technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, among others
Implementing best practices throughout the development lifecycle, interacting with CI / CD pipelines and applying containerization and orchestration tools

Requerimientos del cargo

Technical

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar technical degree
Experience working with SQL
Strong understanding of database development
Data modeling
Good command of and experience working with Python, Go, Scala or other programming languages
Working experience with core AWS services (e.g., EC2 and S3)

Project Management skills

Experience managing own complex projects that involve numerous parties and multiple layers of complexity
Ability to effectively organize your time and prioritize your tasks, working independently
Ability to handle tight deadlines and play as a reliable team contributor
Ability to work iteratively, building solutions though collaboration and inputs

Opcionales

Plus:

Experience with data warehouses like BigQuery or Redshift
Experience in data streams processing technologies including Kafka, Spark, etc.
Experience working with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, HBase or Bigtable
Experience working with cloud-hosted services, such as AWS or GCP
Experience working with AWS big data technologies (Redshift, EMR, Glue)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with Amazon QuickSight
Experience working with Docker
