Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Aictive

Aictive is developing the latest technology for remote rehabilitation and monitoring, harvesting the power of artificial intelligence and computer vision. We are dealing with the state of the art suite of technologies for solving the following challenges:

• Accurate 3D movement inference from imagery.
• Activity recognition.
• Personalised recommender system based on historical data.
• Web interface for service provision that can handle many users simultaneously.

Your job will be to deliver projects as part of the current development roadmap of Aictive. This involves:

• Project scoping, functional design, architecture and communicate with marketing and communications and product managers to decide on features and viability.
• Develop and deliver (with support of a team), both front and back end interfaces for the applications, which connects to the existing ecosystem of Aictive, based on distributed servers in AWS.
• Improve over existing processes, optimising Aictive's service delivery over the cloud.
• You will have two/three full time engineers to support the development of these projects. Part of your role is to mentor and make decisions over the work of others.

The projects will surely involve data analytics in the cloud, front end and back end communications, computer vision and other machine learning integrations.

You will report to the Chief Technical Officer of Aictive, who will provide minimal supervision in the form support for prioritisation, roadmap and best practices.

• Computer Science or related degree.
• Highly experienced and familiar with Python, NodeJS, Vue, React, Graphql, SQL and AWS suite of products (Cloud formation, S3, RDS, Auto-scaling, Amplify, Route53)
• Experience 3+ years managing a team of software engineers and development of world-class web/native desktop and mobile applications.
• Technical and practical knowledge and experience on testing, integration and deployment pipeline.

• Data Science, machine learning and computer vision (deep learning) experience.
