Summary Job Description

Program and Project Planning:

Collaborate with engineering and development teams to create technical specifications
Create and manage a full-scale master project and resource planning schedule
Ensure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones and deliverable tasks
Establish project financial forecasts including resource plans.
Ensure necessary steps and dependencies to deliver projects and components are established
Validate that scopes can be completed within timeline and budget
Evaluate technical skills of candidates
Orchestrate UX / UI, Development and QA teams.
Prevent scope creep and facilitate change requests to ensure impacts to schedule or budget are approved and communicated.
Lead regular scrum meetings with teams and clients.
Communicate regular status updates to executive leadership on delivery progress and plan updates.
Escalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution and mitigation.
Ensure proper project closure including retrospectives/lessons learned, transition and hand-off to production operations support, and final financial reporting.
Perform code review prior to client delivery.

Job Requirements

8+ years of relevant work experience in project/program management in the software product cycle driving features from initial planning and design, to implementation and release.
2-5 years Scrum delivery experience.
Fluent English Speaker.
Strong experience gathering and developing requirements.
Possesses extensive experience in the basics of project management (estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, communication planning).
Proven accomplishment as a driver of multiple simultaneous projects.
Excellent business communication, writing, and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the enterprise and to teams of varying disciplines.
Direct experience developing:
- React + Redux Front End
- Nodejs + Express Back End - REST APIs
- MS Sql Server, MySQL and Mongo DBs
A plus:
- Python and main related libraries
- Dot Net
- Android and iOS Native and Xamarin applications
Hands-on coding experiences with modern languages like JavaScript, C#, Swift, C++ and Python and SQL
Production experience deploying, configuring and monitoring high availability and high traffic systems using load balancers, container services like dockers
Proven experience building large service oriented distributed services
Experience with clouding technologies such as AWS and Azure
Creating technical documentation
