Senior Software Engineer in ZeroFox

ZeroFOX seeks motivated, innovative Software Engineers who want to build scalable SaaS software in the cloud to help our team continue to rapidly innovate and scale. Our software is scaling up by over 50% per quarter, and we need more phenomenal teammates to help us stay ahead of that growth while providing ever-greater value to our customers, with ever-higher quality!

You’ll join a team of software engineers, cybersecurity experts, and data scientists who are disrupting the cyber security industry providing Digital Risk Protection: Protection on social media and digital channels from security threats like social engineering, external fraud, data loss, insider threat, reputation-based attacks, etc.

• Develop components of our core SaaS platform written in Python, Django, Javascript, Node, Angular, and Go
• Solve problems by either writing solutions from scratch or by using open source projects
• Gain an in-depth understanding of all of the team’s code, systems, and tools
• Contribute to existing tech stack and actively research and advocate for new tools, technologies, and methodologies to evolve it over time

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
• At least 5-7 additional years of experience
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Experience with object-oriented programming concepts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn new technologies
• Experience with web development technologies and languages

Valuable Skills

Experience with:

• Python, including Django
• Javascript, including usage of Node and/or Angular
• Go programming language
• Linux, Git, cloud development
• Agile, continuous improvement processes
• Containerized microservices
• Experience designing, maintaining, versioning internal and external REST APIs
• Understanding of message-driven architecture
