Software Engineer in Equifax

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop software code per the requirements using Big Data technologies
• Develop automated tests and ensure that the delivered code meets the requirements
• Continuously improve technical skills participating in activities given by the Santiago Development Center
• Apply and define good practices, such as pattern designs and clean code when implementing solutions using Big Data
• Write technical documentation
• Apply knowledge of CI/CD
• Apply security standards

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree
• 1+ years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge of Databases, Algorithms and Operating Systems
• Strong analytical skills to solve problems
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Experience working with agile methodologies
• Intermediate English communication skills
• Knowledge of Distributed Systems
• Knowledge of: Maven, GIT, JAVA

• Desired knowledge: Hadoop and Hive, Impala, Map-Reduce, Spring-Framework, Spark, Scala, Python
• Desired Knowledge on cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure)
