Junior Software Engineer in Cultivo

Cultivo is the new way to invest in natural climate solutions at scale. Our mission is to unlock investment to restore nature and generate ecosystem services. Using our platform we aim to enable carbon capture, biodiversity protection, water capture and to provide local community support. Our team, together with landowners, NGOs and investors works in harmony with nature with the aim of capturing over 1 billion tons of CO2 in the next 20 years.

We’re looking for you to participate in a team that builds products that shape how people adopt natural climate solutions. In doing so, you'll fill a critical role in crafting the future we envision together.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working tightly with the product team to materialize our product roadmap such as: building a secure and highly available customer facing platform for our projects and using GIS, Machine Learning and other technologies to build feasibility analysis tools and securely deploying them.

• Full stack engineering expertise, amazing coding skills and Computer Science fundamentals
• Strong english and interpersonal skills, to be effective with a remote and diverse team
• Experience working in shared code bases
• A sense of ownership for everything you ship and a sense of empathy for all your peers.
• A functional approach to building software. You care about the real world impact of your programming
• Being able to leave your ego out of the equation

Stack Knowledge

• React, and React Native
• Node.js
• SQL and NoSQL databases

Skills

• Spanish or any additional language

• GIS tools like ArcGIS or QGIS
• Google Cloud Platform experience
