Job Details:

We are looking for a robust Backend Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our backend systems, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:

Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services and APIs, primarily in Python, with the potential to expand into GoLang.
Own the deployment pipelines, containerization processes (Docker), and cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS).
Set up, manage, and optimize databases to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate closely with AI engineers to productionize machine learning workflows and integrate them into backend systems.
Monitor, debug, and enhance the reliability and efficiency of distributed systems.
Contribute to technical decisions, system architecture, and long-term infrastructure planning.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of experience in backend development, with Python as a core language (GoLang knowledge or willingness to learn is a plus).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP or AWS.
Experience designing, implementing, and managing databases (SQL and/or NoSQL such as MongoDB).
Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) is a plus.
Background or understanding of distributed systems is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, take ownership, and collaborate across teams.
