This process is for Full-stack React/Node.js Senior positions only. Read below for the requirements.

• Build epic features that go through the whole stack meaning coding in Node.js, React, SQL, background jobs, API integrations.
• Work side by side with UX and UI teams.
• Optimize our codebase at the server and at the browser constantly looking for ways to improve them.
• Cover your code with tests (unit, feature, integration, end-to-end).
• Face challenging problems that need high levels of abstraction in order to design simple solutions.
• Mentor and pair with entry/mid-level engineers to help develop their skills.
• Review a lot of code giving feedback.

Hard skills

• Expert proficiency level (in performance and legibility) with Node, JavaScript and React.
• PostgreSQL. It is imperative to be able to write complex queries when the abstraction of the ORM is not enough.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong Knowledge of how to design and build a REST API. You are able to explain everything that happens under the hood when a user (agent) requests an URL.
• Knowledge and experience on encapsulation, abstraction, polymorphism, or building algorithms.
• Functional programming practices as a form of creating reactive programming.
• Understands high-level architectural design and patterns.

Soft skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills (English is required).

• You will be screened for technical and psychological skills. You will be required to take code challenges and other assessments. We'll store the result for your future Concierge applications.
• We work hard to make the process as fair, transparent, fun, and inclusive as possible.
• You will get valuable feedback. If you don't pass the screenings, you will receive feedback from our recruiters about areas of improvement. You'll be encouraged to apply again later.
