What is Prey

Prey Inc. (preyproject.com) is a Chilean software company with +10 years in the market, who developed a security and tracking software for electronic devices used worldwide. When we say global, we mean it! We have over 7 million users and thousands of companies trust us with their devices’ security.

Our anti-theft and device management tool is adapted to manage large device fleets, helping recover and organize thousands of laptops, phones, and tablets across the world. How does Prey do it? With a great inventory, global tracking capabilities, geofencing, and remote actions that help secure the device.

We’re looking for a master of words and content. How can we describe the profile? It’s a Bilingual Content Specialist, with solid Inbound knowledge. Familiarity and an interest in the tech security industry and top-notch English are a MUST.

You’ll be joining the Marketing team to:

1. Work on our Inbound content strategy (Spanish & English)
2. Write and produce multi-format content (posts, ebooks, infographics, educational content)
3. Keep an eye on social presence and collaborate in it (Buzzsumo)
4. Investigate trends and topics for content
5. Write bylines and coordinate external writers if necessary
6. Stay on top of new content trends and tactics.

Who You'll Be Working With:

You will work hand in hand with the Communications Manager, Designer, Front-Developer, CMO, and Product Marketer. Basically, the whole marketing team!

The Skills We're Looking For

• Flawless English and Spanish writing skills
• Experience with Inbound Marketing - digital marketing
• A passion and a strong understanding of the tech industry
• Experience with content creation for: Social Media, blogs, press, emailing
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style and voice of Prey
• An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale blog marketing strategies
• Experience with social media and content management systems
• SEO know-how for content
• Responsible personal time management to meet personal, and global goals

• Experience in digital analytics
• Experience in the tech/security industry
• Journalism-related background
• Experience with marketing tools such as ActiveCampaign, OptinMonster, Wordpress, TW/FB ADS platforms, and Intercom or similar alternatives, such as Hubspot, Drip, Drift, etc
• Experience in audio-video production
