We're looking for a Technical Copywriter who can translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling language that resonates with artists, labels, and music industry partners. You'll shape how EVEN communicates across documentation, product interfaces, marketing materials, and partner-facing content.
This role sits at the intersection of product, design, artist relations, and engineering. You'll work alongside our Product Lead, Designers, Artist Relations team, Creative team, and Dev team to ensure every touchpoint with artists and partners feels clear, helpful, and on-brand. You'll need to understand blockchain infrastructure, payment systems, and music distribution while writing in a voice that feels approachable and artist-first—never condescending, never jargon-heavy for its own sake.
Write and maintain product documentation, help center content, and onboarding materials that help artists succeed on the platform. Partner with Designers and the Product Lead to develop copy for product interfaces, ensuring every button, tooltip, and error message is clear and on-brand. Collaborate with the Creative team on marketing content including website copy, email campaigns, case studies, and partner announcements. Work with the Dev team to understand technical features and distill them into benefits artists actually care about. Support Artist Relations with educational content, FAQs, and resources that help artists get the most out of EVEN. Craft partner-facing materials, pitch decks, and co-marketing content for business development. Establish and evolve EVEN's voice and style guidelines.
3+ years of experience in technical writing, product copywriting, or a similar role. Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to make complex topics accessible. Experience in music, creator economy, fintech, or developer tools is a plus. Understanding of (or genuine curiosity about) blockchain technology—we use it, but we don't make artists think about it. Excellent editing skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt tone for different audiences: indie artists, major label partners, developers, investors. Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
Background as a musician or deep familiarity with the music industry. Experience with API documentation or developer-focused content. Familiarity with music distribution, streaming economics, or superfan monetization.
You'll help build the future of how artists make money from their music. We're working with some of the biggest names in the industry while staying focused on making our tools accessible to independent artists everywhere. Competitive compensation, equity, and the chance to shape a category-defining company at a pivotal moment in its growth.
