Key Responsibilities
The Account Manager / Inbound Sales Closer will own client communication, manage inbound leads, and oversee the full project lifecycle from quote through delivery.
Client Communications & Inbound Sales (50%) Respond in real-time to inbound client leads via email, SMS, and phone. Utilize AI-enabled internal tools to follow up and guide prospects through the sales funnel. Maintain CRM and project tracker for accurate updates. Approve and send invoices using the automated billing system. Draft and revise engagement letters for larger or corporate deals.
Project Management (30%) Review client submissions for completeness and accuracy. Assign projects to contractors with defined fees and deadlines. Approve contractor bids and track delivery milestones. Format and polish appraisal reports using Google Docs, including light rewriting with AI assistance. Confirm payment receipt before releasing final reports.
Administrative & Cross-functional Support (20%) Perform general administrative tasks supporting marketing, operations, and finance. Contribute to process improvement and documentation of workflows. Collaborate with leadership on special projects and client onboarding initiatives.
Requirements
Must-Have:
3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or operations
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone proficiency
Proven experience in inbound or consultative sales roles
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail, especially with client-facing documents
Familiarity with the following tech stack or similar tools:
Attio (CRM)
Airtable (Project Management)
Missive (Collaborative Email)
OpenPhone (SMS & Calling)
Google Drive & Docs
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in appraisal, real estate, legal, or B2B services
Skills in formatting reports or deliverables using Google Docs
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT for text editing
Experience working in startups or distributed teams
Desirable Experience
Additional valuable but non-essential skills include experience within real estate appraisal, legal environments, or B2B service sectors. Familiarity with Google Docs for professional report formatting and editing enhances efficiency. Comfort with modern AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist in drafting and polishing content is advantageous. Candidates with startup backgrounds or remote, distributed work experience are likely to thrive in our dynamic environment.
