We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Representatives to manage certain territories of the United States. A successful candidate will understand event-based marketing and drive referral leads for Devsu’s sales team. This role will be required to attend multiple networking events each month, develop and nurture relationships with key decision makers, and refer prospective sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Hit/exceed monthly referral targets within assigned territory
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective clients
  • Effectively communicate Devsu’s value proposition through in-person networking
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Research marketing, organizations, and individuals to uncover new opportunities.
  • The main focus of this job is to attend (e)conferences, (e)meetings, and industry events. It will not have an office schedule.
  • Reports to Chief Growth Officer

Requirements

  • Located in or near the following: San Francisco, New York.
  • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Experience selling SaaS, Technology Services, or Marketing Services preferred
  • Authorized to live and work in the USA
Internal Key Performance Indicators
  • Generate 6 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) per month / 48 annually
  • Attend 8 local networking events per month
  • Attend 1 national conference per quarter / 4 annually

Benefits

This is a contractor position with a monthly salary of $1500. The representative will make 10% on first year revenue for all deals that close from leads they referred.
