Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development: Identify, acquire, and establish strategic partnerships with Technology Services companies, Strategic Partners, Private Equity, and Venture Capital firms. Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligning with SSI’s business objectives.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Drive sales growth by leveraging partnerships to broaden market reach and increase revenue. Identify new business opportunities and tailor sales strategies for each partnership. Set and achieve sales targets for partnership-driven initiatives.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Create and execute an overall go-to-market plan ensuring alignment with sales and marketing initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to increase awareness for partnership offerings.
  • Engagement Models: Design engagement models that encourage collaboration and drive mutual value with partners, including training programs for effective integration.
  • Partnership Enablement: Equip partners with necessary resources and tools to drive sales growth. Set performance metrics and KPIs to assess partnership effectiveness.
  • Assessment and Optimization: Regularly evaluate partnership performance and identify improvement areas. Collaborate with partners to refine strategies based on data.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales metrics to ensure targets are met. Provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key partner stakeholders, serving as a primary contact and addressing concerns to enhance partnership value.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Professional Experience: Proven track record in Business Development and/or Net New Sales leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience: Building and developing partner relationships.
  • Background: Experience in sales roles at software development and technology services firms.
  • Sales Leadership: Hands-on player/coach experience with leadership skills to foster a high-performing sales team.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Acumen: Ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Capacity to Manage: Oversee multiple partners and accounts simultaneously, navigating varying complexities.
  • Business Development Skills: Experience in prospecting new business, qualifying leads, presenting, and closing deals.
  • Travel Readiness: Willing to travel to client and partner sites as needed.
