Job functions

Support the Business Development process in securing customers within Brazil region by:
  • Providing technical input into sales activity;
  • Providing technical input into sales documents e.g. bids and proposals
  • Demonstrating how technical features add value to mine operations;
  • Provide customer insight to the Product Teams;
  • Work with the marketing teams to shape value proposition messages;
  • Creating software demonstrations scripts;
  • Co-creating business cases with customers;
  • Co-creating case studies with customers;
  • Training new sales and marketing employees in the technical aspects of TIMining software in Brazil.
  • Providing project and technical support from time to time.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Policies, Procedures and Standards
  • Ensure adequate understanding of relevant policies, processes, and standards
  • Compliance with Company’s standards
  • Actively works to positively change the culture of the way business is conducted globally
Technical Sales
  • Actively promote TIMining’s products, with particular focus on TIMA in the region
  • Provide technical input into sales documentation
  • Provide technical input into sales activities and plans
  • Deliver technical software demonstrations
  • Where required, develop demonstration scripts and keep these current with insights from the sales process
  • Help ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by delivering clear evidence of the value of TIMining’s solutions
Business Development
  • In collaboration with customers, create case-studies and value stories that can be used as sales and marketing collateral
  • Sales talent management, including training, coaching and performance management
  • Supervise, mentor and coach junior pre sales personnel
  • Train new sales and marketing starters in the use of TIMining software
  • Support the global TIMining team as required

Qualifications and requirements

  • +7 years’ experience working in open pit mining operations, either in short term planning, production management or IROC
  • +5 years of site experience
  • +5 years experience in working with mining software including General Mine Planning tool, Fleet Management Software and Business Intelligence
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining / Civil) or other relevant discipline

Desirable skills

  • Experience in working with product teams is highly desirable
  • Commercial and implementation experience in mining, software, technology is highly desirable
