Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ruby on Rails Contractor to contribute to our close-knit, agile Engineering Team. This individual will work with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to create innovative, user-friendly, high-performance web applications.

You are:

Collaborative and have experience working with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer needs.
Comfortable contributing to architecture and design to solve problems at a high scale.
Detail-oriented and write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
Independent and work well under occasional pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experienced in API Development using Ruby on Rails and asynchronous job processing using Sidekiq.
Knowledgeable in RESTful API design.

You will:

Play a crucial role in enhancing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring vigorous performance and scalability.
Develop and maintain top-notch Ruby on Rails Applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot to resolve problems identified through testing.
Champion software engineering best practices, including design, documentation, monitoring, and observability.

Requirements:

4+ years of professional development experience.
Strong knowledge of all aspects of Agile software development, test, and support methodologies.
Experience with RESTful API integrations.

Even better if you:

PHP (Laravel).
GIT, GitHub Actions, DevOps, CICD, Cloud.
Understanding of Front End technology concepts, including React, HTML5/CSS, etc.
Familiarity with the JSON: API specification.
Payment Processing Platform Integration experience.
