HRAFN AI is an early-stage startup building the operating system for automotive commerce. We unify data from legacy systems (DMS, CRM, inventory) in real-time and surface insights through a dealer-facing dashboard and an AI co-pilot. This is a hands-on product development environment where speed, pragmatism, and clean engineering matter as we ship a production-ready demo for dealers and OEMs.

Project/Team

You will join a small founding team (CTO and CEO) to design and deliver core features, APIs, and UI flows for our first production demo and dealer dashboard. The role emphasizes building solid backend services, integrating external automotive data providers, and delivering a responsive frontend experience. This contract position is a stepping stone toward longer-term collaboration as we scale.

What You Will Do

This is a contract full-stack engineering role focused on designing and building the first working version of our dealer dashboard. You’ll:
- Implement backend services (Supabase/Postgres + serverless functions in TypeScript/Node.js).
- Build and consume APIs to integrate with dealer data systems (starting with CDK).
- Connect backend endpoints to a React/Vite frontend hosted on Vercel.
- Implement core flows: authentication, GET endpoints (sales, inventory, CRM), and real-time dashboard views.
- Work iteratively with founders to ship working features fast.

Required Skills & Experience

What you bring

5+ years of full-stack development experience.
Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
Experience with Supabase or Firebase-style serverless backends.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and ship working features in sprints.

Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with automotive APIs/DMS integrations (CDK, Tekion, Reynolds).
Experience with Supabase Row-Level Security and auth.
Exposure to LLM/AI feature integrations.
Startup or contract experience in 0→1 product builds.
