Job Details:

We are seeking a Senior SDET to take ownership of the testing strategy, execution, and quality assurance for applications developed in .NET and React. This position will define testing strategies and develop robust test automation frameworks to ensure applications meet the highest standards of quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation in testing practices, and mentor team members to foster a culture of excellence in quality engineering.

The ideal candidate is a proactive senior SDET with hands-on experience in automation testing, exceptional technical skills, and a passion for improving processes and driving quality at scale.

Essential Functions:

  • Define and implement the overall test strategy for applications built with .NET and React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and DevOps, to prioritize testing efforts and deliver high-quality software.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Implement robust test coverage using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Pytest or equivalent.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Implement functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure application reliability.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle by identifying, tracking, and resolving issues in collaboration with developers.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the team.
  • Conduct performance and scalability testing using tools like JMeter to identify bottlenecks.
  • Partner with security teams to ensure applications meet security and compliance standards.
  • Other duties as requested by the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python (preferred).
  • Experience with UI testing (Cypress, Selenium, PyTest) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
  • Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and database testing experience.
  • Expertise in performance/scalability testing (JMeter).
  • Experience with Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps.
  • Knowledge of SonarQube and security testing tools.
  • Experience with ElasticSearch or Redis is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent required (advanced degree a plus).
