Senior AWS DevOps Engineer in Ensitech

We’re looking for a Salesforce Developer with Experience Cloud and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions.

• Design complex, multi-layered solutions in AWS using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes as well as AWS native services.
• Collaborate with development teams when needed to design solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Independently manage and execute project work from start to finish.
• Work with more junior Devops engineers to review their designs and offer feedback.
• Ensure that our CI/CD pipelines are following best practices and using modern technology stacks.
• Onboard new applications and teams to our Devops pipelines as needed.
• Continually identify opportunities for automation and testing improvements.
• Act as first responder for production issues and troubleshooting.
• Create, update, and maintain documentation of systems, processes, and runbooks.
• Help document our runbooks, perform routine testing of runbooks.
• Participate in an On Call Rotation.
• Research new tools and occasionally work on proof of concepts.
• Contribute to our Infrastructure as Code repositories for Terraform and Ansible.

• At least 5 years of experience working in AWS Cloud at an advanced level.
• Experience with Linux fundamentals such as scripting, system tuning, and operations.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of infrastructure-level resources (networking, storage, I/O, compute).
• Experience with Hashicorp products (nomad, vault, terraform, consul).
• At least 8 years hands experience in a technical role.
• Experience with many CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Github Actions, and Bamboo.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Dockerized applications.
• Experience with monitoring applications in AWS and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Must have good communication skills.

• Cloud, Linux, or Networking certifications (verifiable and not expired).
• Elasticsearch management is a plus.
• Computer Science or related degree.
