Responsibilities

  1. Database Architecture & Maintenance:
    • Design, implement, and maintain scalable PL/SQL databases to support OCUREL’s lead management system.
    • Optimize database schemas for performance and reliability.
  2. Data Integration & Quality Management:
    • Integrate data from multiple sources, including web forms, CRM tools, and marketing platforms.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
    • Develop processes to clean and standardize incoming data.
  3. Performance Optimization:
    • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations.
    • Proactively address bottlenecks and implement solutions to scale systems as data volume grows.
  4. Automation & Scripting:
    • Automate data workflows, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
    • Develop scripts to streamline routine database tasks and reporting.
  5. Security & Compliance:
    • Implement robust data security protocols to protect sensitive lead and customer data.
    • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data privacy regulations.
  6. Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with developers to integrate databases with front-end and back-end applications.
    • Support sales and marketing teams by ensuring they have timely access to accurate data.
    • Provide technical guidance and documentation to team members.

Requirements

Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google BigQuery, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and database indexing.
Data Security & Compliance:
  • Understanding of data protection best practices.
  • Experience implementing GDPR, CCPA, or similar compliance measures.
Soft Skills:
  • C1 English level or higher
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proved experience working with lead magnets.
