DevOps Engineer in Hola Cash

HolaCash is looking for an engineer eager to grow expertise in building automation, and infrastructure that will support all the applications ensuring that security, and good practices are in place. This position will go from writing code to automating all already existing and new infrastructure, implementing new tools and practices to improve speed, security, monitoring and reliability of all environments. • Automate all possible resources in AWS through Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform (preferably Terraform).
• Research and evaluate new technologies that can be implemented to improve applications (like monitoring, testing, benchmarking, etc)
• Support and extend pipelines to integrate more features and ensure best practices (vulnerability analysis, testing, linting, etc)
• Improve deployment processes to be faster and more flexible.
• Empower product development teams to run autonomously
• Collaborate on the implementation of compliance and regulatory projects (auditing, PCI DSS, etc)
• Define and create necessary metrics for monitoring and alarming
• Identify potential automatable tasks and automate them
• Be involved and participate in architecture and design for new projects and applications

• 3+ years of devops/cloud engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience in any cloud provider AWS, GCP, Azure
• Experience in scripting languages, preferably Python
• Knowledge of cloud computing such as, elasticity, scalability, reliability, high availability
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability (basic metrics, alarms, notifications).
• Strong fundamentals in docker and containerization.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with any CI/CD tool (Jenkins, Github Actions, TeamCity, CircleCI, etc)
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (terraform, CloudFormation)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR relevant equivalent technical experience.

• Bonus points for: knowledge of architecture principles (SOLID, AWS Well-Architected Framework)
