Job functions

We are looking for an energetic, creative, semi-experienced, fun loving, and curious UNIX software engineer. 
This position will give you the opportunity to be part of the Mask Solutions Group responsible for designing and developing software tools used by the major semiconductor companies in the world.
Responsibilities:

  • Improve and support our development environment by develop and adopt new technologies
  • Help solving complex build issues and code refactoring
  • Provide solutions to port mask solution products to different operating systems and computer architectures
  • Handle small to median size of process improvement projects
Solid shell scripting/python/perl/C/C++ and problem-solving skills are essential.
This person must be familiar with the software development cycle, be able to clearly communicate the problems and collaborate with other global team members.

Qualifications and requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of software development experience
  • Well acquainted with UNIX internal
  • Experienced with C, C++ and Python software development
  • Good understanding of distributed build system, Makefile rules
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. bash, python, perl. etc.)
  • Familiar with inter process communication
  • Working knowledge of various debugging / performance / line coverage / dynamic and static code quality tools
  • Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Posses solid desire to learn and explore new technologies
  • Computer Science or Computer Engineering major
  • Fluent in English
