Job functions

  • Lead and Manage DevOps Team: Direct a team of DevOps engineers in developing, implementing, and optimizing continuous integration and deployment strategies using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with services like ECS, EC2, and AWS Auto Scaling, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Champion Trunk Based Development: Promote and facilitate rapid and reliable software delivery through Trunk Based Development practices.
  • Modular Pipeline and Workflow Development: Develop modular pipeline and deployment workflows to scale and manage deployments efficiently.
  • System Stability and Security: Implement best practices in monitoring, disaster recovery, and high availability to ensure system stability and security.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams on telephony services and mobile development pipelines, enhancing system interoperability and functionality.
  • DevOps Expertise and Mentorship: Act as the subject matter expert in DevOps, guiding team members and stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Technology Adaptation: Stay updated with emerging technologies, especially focusing on Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools for efficient cloud infrastructure management.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps role with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • AWS Expertise: Profound knowledge of AWS cloud services, particularly ECS stack, EC2, and auto-scaling.
  • CI/CD Skills: Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • Development Practices: Strong background in Trunk Based Development.
  • Scripting and Automation: Expertise in scripting, automation, and infrastructure as code principles, especially with Terraform.
  • The ability to communicate in english is a must

Desirable skills

  • Telephony Experience: Experience with telephony services like OpenSIPs.
  • Mobile Development Knowledge: Familiarity with mobile development pipelines and associated technologies.
  • Certifications: Certifications in AWS, Terraform, or other relevant technologies.
