About the position

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps) based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence services company based in Los Angeles, California.

Responsibilities & Requirements ❗

Responsibilities
  • Design, extend and implement system-wide security and authentication strategies, APIs, tools, monitoring and alerting
  • Define and implement best practices for Engineering, and Data teams
  • Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain, automate, and expand infrastructure for AWS, Kubernetes, data and analytics platforms
  • Design tests and tune deployments across multiple stacks
  • Contribute to deployment architecture for security, scale, rapid development/deployment, analytics for public and internal users and analysts
Requirements
  • Advanced Level of English
  • 4+ years of professional and relevant experience in DevSecOps/DevOps
  • Thorough understanding of best practices in security, infrastructure, networking, data governance (OWASP, Patching, Hardening)
  • Kubernetes administration
  • JBoss/Wildfly administration
  • AWS Administration (IaC using CloudFormation, Autoscaling, IAM in-depth, automation and scripting)
  • Artifact management (Docker, Maven, Pypi, Helm)
  • Identity Management using Oauth2, SSO, LDAP, Kerberos, Keycloak
  • Bash/Shell/Python experience to automate tasks
  • Networking theory, including subnet design/management, Network layer, Mesh networking, Network protocols, Load balancing
