Our client is an online travel company for consumer and small business travel. They own numerous well-known vacation rental online marketplaces. Their goal is to connect homeowners and property managers with travelers who seek the space, value, and amenities of vacation rental homes and hotels.

AND YOU WANT TO

Work with an international team of support engineers responsible for all platform operations processes, tools, and resources required to support high availability, on-perm and cloud-based data platforms
Oversee monitoring processes shared by internal groups and vendors to ensure a comprehensive maintenance process and implement daily reporting
Manage end user support and facilitate communication across work streams to ensure satisfaction in troubleshooting and issue resolution
Monitor reliability and availability of data and ensure work according to established benchmark and standards
Collaborate with the Data and AI teams (Program, Product, Analysts, Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Lake,
Analytics, and Infrastructure) to support and innovate on the Data Platforms
Work with infrastructure and platform engineering team to manage EDW, Teradata, AWS data lake platforms and environments, including service-level, access, capacity, and availability management

IF YOU ARE

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information System, or other related program; or equivalent related professional experience is applicable
1+ years of experience as a software or operations engineer
Experience with Data Lake, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization technologies, including AWS, Qubole, Snowflake, Teradata,
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and help teams migrate from one platform technology to another
Strong problem-solving and communication skills and metric driven, results-oriented, focused on continual improvement
Your English level is at least Intermediate Strong.
Strong in: Jenkins, Terraform, Cloud, GitHub actions, Build & CI: Docker, Jenkins
Knowledgeable or experienced in: DB Design: RDBMS: MSSQL, MyBatis; NoSQL: MongoDB, Elastic Search.
Fluent in English
