Role and Responsibilities

As a Mobile QA Tester at Moventi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our iOS and Android mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and manual QA testers to fully understand business and technical requirements, define test scope, and achieve comprehensive test coverage.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Designing and executing manual and automated test cases to guarantee high-quality releases.
Implementing and maintaining mobile automation testing frameworks using tools such as Appium with programming languages like Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, utilizing design patterns like Page Object Model (POM) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
Leveraging mobile cloud farms such as BrowserStack and Sauce Labs to perform cross-device and cross-platform testing.
Utilizing Postman proficiently for API testing and automation to ensure backend reliability and integration quality.
Conducting load and performance testing using JMeter to validate application stability under stress.
Managing test cases and reporting defects efficiently using test management tools like TestRail and Jira.
Contributing to the CI/CD processes by integrating automated tests into build and deployment pipelines, enabling faster feedback and higher deployment confidence.

Through these efforts, you will help uphold and elevate software quality standards while accelerating delivery cycles in an Agile development environment.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a seasoned Mobile QA Tester with 5 to 7 years of direct experience in mobile application quality assurance for both iOS and Android platforms. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, testing best practices, and automation frameworks.

Your qualifications should include:

Extensive hands-on experience in manual and automated mobile testing.
Proficiency with mobile automation testing frameworks such as Appium, using Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, and familiarity with testing design patterns like POM and BDD.
Experience working with mobile cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack and Sauce Labs.
Strong skills in API testing and automation using Postman.
Expertise with JMeter for load and performance testing of mobile applications.
Usage of test management and issue tracking tools such as TestRail and Jira.
Previous involvement in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes by integrating automated tests.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, as collaboration with international teams and documentation is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Preferred Additional Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will add considerable value:

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and active participation in Agile ceremonies.
Familiarity with other test automation tools and scripting languages beyond Appium (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
Experience with performance monitoring tools and analytics to further support mobile app quality.
Background in security testing or familiarity with mobile security standards.
Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
Experience working in multinational or cross-cultural teams.
Ability to mentor junior testers and support knowledge sharing within the QA team.
