Oracle DBA in Accenture

As a Senior level Oracle Database Administrator, you will provide leadership, team vision and direction in the appropriate application of database techniques to meet corporate information requirements. Working with other database administration staff, you will consult, advise and lead in the performance of technical activities.

• Installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining Oracle databases.
• Analysis and troubleshoot performance issues, recommend performance improvements.
• Design and review backup and recovery policies and implement backup and restore of databases to ensure availability.
• Incident management process troubleshoot complex issues of Oracle databases.
• Change management process design work plans to implement changes as part of the change process.
• Perform database Capacity planning.
• Plan database upgrades, migrations and database maintenance routines.
• Being able to detect proactively areas of improvements on databases.
• Drive work efforts and coordinate the team resources and their work load.
• Project management Interact with project managers, other teams, stakeholders and coordinate internal team resources through the whole project cycle.
• Coaching and training of team members.
• Create and maintain documentation of database procedures and support routines.
• Maintain a trust and strong relationship with clients and understand their needs and requirements.

1. Experience as Oracle DBA more than 10 years
2. Complete understanding of Oracle database architecture and design of Oracle database solutions.
3. Deploy and maintain Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM and Oracle Data Guard environments.
4. Excellent communicational skills oriented to maintain a strong relationship with clients, stakeholders and other teams
5. Experience with Cloud Providers such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
6. Deep knowledge with Oracle Goldengate
7. Manage Oracle Database software and its utilities and tools SQLPlus, dbca, dbua, netmgr, netca, data pump, RMAN, Oracle Cloud control, OEM, etc.
