You will interact daily with colleagues in your team, and regularly with the rest of the technology organization as well as the entire company.

We look for people who are excited to build and learn, who will help shape the culture of our Latin American distributed team. The ideal candidate asks frequently for clarifying questions, wants to learn and they are ready to contribute.

Responsibilities

• Be a vocal proponent of quality during every phase of the development process.
• Craft thoughtful, comprehensive test plans that cover all edge cases.
• Create test cases and test suites that are easy to follow and well structured.
• Execute tests across multiple platforms including Web, iOS, Android.
• Find, isolate, report and track defects.
• Generate test reports and effectively communicate that data to project stakeholders.
• Triage incoming bugs reported by our customers, identify trends, and escalate urgent issues as necessary.
• Regression testing.
• Define and raise the bar for the quality of the deliverables. Also share testing best practices with the development team.
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy including automation of QA.
• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 6+ month Full-Stack bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience working on a development team at a consumer startup or bigger companies.
• Demonstrated use in professional environments of collaborative code repositories (GitHub, BitBucket, etc.) and understanding code collaboration workflows.
• Demonstrated use of quality improvement tools, like testing frameworks (Jest or others), code quality (lint) and CI/CD workflows.
• English professional proficiency (C1).
• You are comfortable using TypeScript.
• Demonstrated use of quality improvement tools, like testing frameworks (Jest), code quality (lint) and CI/CD workflows.

• 3+ years working at a single product team with a tech leader and product managers (not on software factories or client projects).
• You understand the challenges of design/usability QA.
• Bug tracking tools (for example JIRA)
• Automation tools like Selenium and/or Appium
• SQL experience
