The project will leverage technologies such as AWS, EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), CI/CD tools like Jenkins, cloud networking concepts including firewalls, NAT, VPN, and microservice environments. Bonus points are given for experience with Infrastructure as Code, which aligns with the automation and scalability goals of the project. Overall, the focus will be on optimizing the software delivery process, enhancing infrastructure efficiency, and ensuring reliability and security in the operation of the venue management software.

Responsibilities:

Architect, implement, and optimize end-to-end deployment pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
Ensure seamless deployment, scaling, and management.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, staging and production environments.
Implement robust disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability and quick response in case of system failures.
Continuously improve operational processes, enhance monitoring and logging, and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
Implement and enhance security measures
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of our cloud infrastructure.
Work closely with software engineers to provide scalable and efficient solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Devops Engineer.
Experience with AWS
Experience with a CI/CD tool (e.g. Jenkins)
Experience with EKS
English conversational skills (mandatory)
Experience with cloud networking - Firewalls, NAT, VPN, network peering
Experience with microservice environments
