Job Details:

A Senior DevOps Engineer must have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines, with expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS, EKS, AKS, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. The position requires you to play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating with development teams to streamline the software delivery process.

Essential Functions:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation for AWS and Azure environments.
Administer, configure, and optimize Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and security.
Strong expertise in Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Amazon Linux.
Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (EKS for AWS and AKS for Azure).
Proficiency in programming with C# and Java.
Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to support Java, .Net, and NodeJS applications.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance.
Mentor and guide junior team members on DevOps tools, practices, and methodologies.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our DevOps processes.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.
Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and Azure.
Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS).
Hands-on with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
Familiar with Java, .Net, and NodeJS.
Strong scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration in fast-paced teams.
Strong communication skills across cross-functional groups.
Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or CKA.
Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
Understanding of serverless and microservices.
Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
