Job Details:

A Senior DevOps Engineer must have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines, with expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS, EKS, AKS, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. The position requires you to play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating with development teams to streamline the software delivery process.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation for AWS and Azure environments.
  • Administer, configure, and optimize Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and security.
  • Strong expertise in Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Amazon Linux.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (EKS for AWS and AKS for Azure).
  • Proficiency in programming with C# and Java.
  • Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to support Java, .Net, and NodeJS applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on DevOps tools, practices, and methodologies.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our DevOps processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and Azure.
  • Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS).
  • Hands-on with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Familiar with Java, .Net, and NodeJS.
  • Strong scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration in fast-paced teams.
  • Strong communication skills across cross-functional groups.
  • Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or CKA.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
  • Understanding of serverless and microservices.
  • Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
