Are you the next Qventoid? We’re looking for a tech-savvy IT Support Engineer to provide exceptional desktop support for our corporate employees and contractors. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring seamless technological experiences aligned with Qventus's mission of delivering innovative solutions.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will perform critical tasks such as troubleshooting common desktop issues, automating the provisioning process, and ensuring efficient IT onboarding and offboarding. Your role is pivotal in managing hardware, monitoring licenses, and upholding our corporate security and compliance standards.

Job functions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop issues, offering prompt and efficient support.
  • Install and upgrade hardware/software, focusing on automating the provisioning process.
  • Monitor and manage licenses to ensure each team has the necessary tools for success.
  • Design and implement an efficient IT onboarding/offboarding process for all personnel.
  • Manage hardware logistics, including purchasing, shipping, and inventory.
  • Uphold corporate security and compliance, ensuring a secure and compliant IT environment.

Qualifications and requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate IT.
  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Profound knowledge of operating systems (Primary: Mac | Linux | Windows).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at explaining complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and focus, maintaining composure in challenging situations.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Software programming experience (bash, Java, Python).
  • Experience configuring SSO using OKTA and Google as an Identity provider.
