The company’s medical client is a virtual pediatric clinic providing comprehensive, multispecialty ADHD care according to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines. The medical and behavioral clinicians work collaboratively to offer families best-in-class treatment and a clear path forward. This role sits within the new Concierge team focused on patient onboarding and support.

Core Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective new patients; follow-up communication via email and SMS may also be necessary.
  • Guide new patients through the onboarding process, addressing any concerns or objections that arise promptly and professionally.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate complex billing and insurance information to families.
  • Handle rejections or difficult conversations with potential clients with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure patients complete all required post-call actions, such as reviewing consent forms or uploading diagnostic documents.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Product and Engineering teams to alert them of any technical issues or software bugs encountered.
  • Utilize CRM or sales software in daily activities.
  • Work independently to meet or exceed sales and onboarding targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in phone sales or telemarketing, demonstrating strong results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to independently manage workload and consistently meet sales or performance targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM or sales software, telephony or customer service software such as Zendesk, and collaboration tools like Google Suite and Slack.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Experience or interest in healthcare is highly desirable.
  • Resilience in handling rejections and difficult conversations professionally.
  • Aspirations to grow into a leadership role within an emerging team.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience working in healthcare settings or familiarity with pediatric ADHD care protocols is a strong plus. Previous roles involving patient or client onboarding will make candidates stand out. Knowledge of insurance billing processes in healthcare will further enhance success in this role. Skills in building positive feedback loops between customer-facing teams and technical teams are beneficial. Prior independent contractor work experience demonstrating self-motivation and accountability is desirable.
