About the Role

At Niuro, we are seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) to become an integral part of our engineering team. Your role will involve building intelligent agents that seamlessly integrate data, tools, and various models to produce measurable and impactful outcomes.
You will own the entire development loop: from framing complex problems and defining success criteria to developing, deploying, and maintaining efficient, trustworthy, and maintainable AI-powered solutions over time. Your work will be essential in advancing our data science capabilities and delivering reliable, production-grade features that leverage AI and LLM technologies.

Requirements

  • Solid, hands-on experience in classical Data Science techniques, including modeling, feature engineering, statistics, and experimentation.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming is mandatory.
  • Proven production experience shipping AI/ML or LLM-powered features to live environments.
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Professional proficiency in English to effectively communicate in a global team.
  • Systems thinking with the ability to understand data flows, failure modes, and optimize trade-offs related to cost, latency, and throughput.
  • Commitment to writing clean, testable, and maintainable code that meets industry best practices.
  • A strong respect for privacy, security, and operational reliability in AI systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or maintaining Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, enhancing LLM responses with external knowledge bases.
  • Familiarity with tool/function calling mechanisms and Multi-Component Processing (MCP)-based integrations to extend AI capabilities.
