At Platzi B2B Growth Team helps the company to better position and market itself in the industry, also the Growth Managers work with the marketing teams and Product in order to work the strategy and tactics to oversee the entire engine from lead generation (acquisition) through to activation and retention. Growth seeks to generate exponential B2B client acquisition developing hypotheses, running experiments to finally move the needle until the unit economics can be optimized.

Job functions

Growth Managers think big and test small. They have to envision anything as a marketing channel working with marketing and product to enhance the complete funnel, but they also run constant cheap, iterative tests to make sure their ideas can work. Growth works with marketing channels, solutions, and ideas that efficiently drive new customers to the brand and increase revenue.

  • Plan and execute the lead generation strategy for our B2B clients and evaluate the effectiveness of growth initiatives
  • Analyze and execute actionable insights across the buyer journey, website and communication channels, and events, to drive sales growth
  • Understand how Platzi solves problems for our SMB, Business, and Enterprise clients in different industries – and capable of providing segmented communication strategies to different clients
  • Provide a point of view on how the B2B team can improve communications, value proposition, and pricing vs. competitors to challenge and improve our offering
  • Prepare communications materials, content, and case studies for the Sales team
  • Set OKRs, analyze metrics, and track goals against lead generation and growth experiments
  • Review and optimize metrics and goal tracking of lead generation efforts through paid media including conversion rate, CAC, and ROA
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to execute growth strategies from Creative, Design, SEO, Pricing, and Product, among others

Qualifications and requirements

  • 5 years of experience managing lead generation strategies for B2B clients, measuring success and operations driving customer impact
  • Experience using paid media for B2B lead generation and clear understating of metrics
  • Analytical skills to track opportunities, provide a point of view on pricing and strategic decision making
  • Strong writing skills in Spanish for B2B content creation
  • Experience leading a small team and coordinating efforts across areas
  • Ability to manage several lead generation initiatives and a self-driven attitude
