About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to lead the development of intelligent agent systems that automate the processing of structured and semi-structured documents. The role aims to enhance the user experience on our platform by streamlining internal processes such as information validation and extraction. The AI Engineer will focus on improving accuracy, efficiency, and protecting sensitive data.

The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions using AI technologies and ensuring seamless integration within the platform's architecture. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and monitor system performance through advanced monitoring tools.

Requirements:

Fluent English (both written and spoken) to communicate effectively in a distributed international team.
Proven experience building intelligent agents for document automation, demonstrating mastery of related AI concepts and frameworks.
Strong skills in improving user experience (UX) and internal workflows through automation, focusing on delivering value and efficiency.
Prioritize cost-efficiency, accuracy, and the protection of sensitive data when designing and deploying solutions.
Experience with the following technology stack:
- Languages: Python, HTML, JavaScript
- AI/Agent Frameworks: BAML, Pydantic AI, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Textract
- Infrastructure: FastAPI, Gunicorn, Docker, Amazon ECS
- Frontend: Aestiva HTML/OS, Streamlit (primarily for prototyping)
- Testing frameworks: pytest (backend), Playwright (frontend)
- Monitoring tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
