Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior MLOps Engineer at Niuro, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust machine learning operations pipelines to support large-scale data and ML workflows.
  • Build and manage end-to-end ML lifecycle automation using tools like Databricks and MLflow.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and project stakeholders to streamline model deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
  • Develop and optimize batch processing pipelines on Linux environments to ensure efficient data throughput.
  • Implement best practices for CI/CD within ML workflows using Bitbucket repositories and automated testing frameworks.
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security for ML production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to ML systems and data workflows.
  • Contribute to the team's continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, mentoring juniors, and participating in architecture discussions.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for experienced MLOps engineers with a strong technical background in operationalizing machine learning models and workflows in production environments. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Deep hands-on experience with Databricks for big data processing and ML model management.
  • Proficiency in using MLflow for experiment tracking, model registry, and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong Python programming skills, especially for scripting automation tasks and pipeline development.
  • Experience working with Bitbucket for source code management and CI/CD integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of designing and managing batch processing systems, optimizing job scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments, with solid command-line skills and system administration basics.
  • Good conversational English skills to effectively communicate with our U.S.-based teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
  • Prior experience in collaborative remote teams and agile methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially their ML and data pipeline services.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Exposure to real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
  • Background in software engineering practices including unit testing, code reviews, and design patterns.
  • Previous experience in mentoring or leading technical teams.
