As an Investment Associate in Seoul, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting early-stage startups within Korea and adjacent markets. You will work closely with a global team to deliver rigorous investment analysis, contribute to portfolio value creation, and help manage fund operations and reporting. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and is passionate about startups and ecosystem development.
Key responsibilities include evaluating deal opportunities, performing comprehensive due diligence, supporting portfolio companies through fundraising and growth initiatives, and ensuring accurate and timely investor communications. You will also help strengthen our presence in the Korean startup ecosystem by engaging with founders, partners, and events.
Authorized to work in Korea with excellent written and verbal English communication. Proficiency in Korean (spoken and written) is preferred. Strong multitasking abilities, quick learning and adaptability, and the capacity to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Global and cultural awareness, with enthusiasm for collaborating with diverse teams and founders from around the world. Demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and ecosystem-building. Prior exposure to financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio support is a plus.
