The role within the Customer Data Platform (CDP) team centers on building high-quality data integrations and tracking capabilities that support sophisticated data-driven marketing and analytics strategies for our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and customize advanced tracking requirements across multiple platforms, including web browsers, mobile applications, and server environments, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection.
Design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations between the CDP and a variety of external/custom data sources and destinations to streamline data flows and enhance platform utilization.
Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to ensure that event tracking and identity resolution logic is scalable, reliable, and compatible with existing systems and client needs.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, optimizing data quality, latency, and system performance within complex data architectures.
Document implementation processes, integration workflows, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing within the team and for client onboarding.

What We're Looking For

We seek a motivated CDP Solutions Engineer with a strong technical background, preferably with experience in digital analytics, data integration, or customer data platforms. The ideal candidate has the ability to work across various technologies and platforms, demonstrating an aptitude for complex troubleshooting and problem solving.

Technical Skills and Experience:

Proficient in implementing tracking solutions using technologies such as JavaScript (for web), mobile SDKs, and server-side data collection methods.
Strong experience building and maintaining RESTful API integrations, ensuring data exchange integrity and security.
Understanding of data structures, event schema design, and identity resolution principles to unify customer data effectively.
Familiarity with common analytics and marketing tools, CDP platforms, and data engineering concepts.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data, product, and client stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for high-quality, maintainable implementations.
Ability to manage priorities independently and adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, keeping up-to-date with industry standards and emerging technologies.

Additional Skills and Experience

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless architectures to support data processing pipelines.
Knowledge of SQL and data querying languages for validation and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with privacy regulations and best practices, including GDPR and CCPA compliance in data tracking.
Exposure to customer engagement platforms or marketing automation tools.
Experience working in agile teams and practicing CI/CD methodologies.
